Marianas Strong is a community-led initiative created in response to Super Typhoon Sinlaku.
This site was built by youth members from Saipan currently living in the diaspora, with the goal of making reliable information and resources more accessible for our families, friends, and community members affected by Super Typhoon Sinlaku.
We understand how difficult it can be to find clear, up-to-date information during times of crisis. Our goal is to bring together essential updates, such as shelter availability, food and water distribution, medical services, and wait times, into one central, easy-to-use platform.
What we do
We collect and organize information from:
Local authorities and official announcements
Community organizations and partners
On-the-ground reports from residents
All updates are reviewed and time-stamped to help ensure accuracy and relevance.

Our Approach
We prioritize:
Accuracy over speed
Clarity over complexity
Community collaboration
While we work to verify all information, conditions can change quickly. We encourage folks to confirm details directly with providers whenever possible.
Community-Powered
This platform depends on our community.
By sharing updates, reporting changes, and helping verify information, you are helping others navigate recovery safely and efficiently.
Marianas Strong is not an official government agency.
We do not collect or distribute donations.
We aim to share only verified and responsible information.
